I was sitting in the Dentist's office waiting for my husband. I picked up a Reader's Digest from the table and began to 'read and digest'.

And right there on the front was an article that I couldn't resist turning to. It's title read, '4 Ways To Live Longer Aside From Diet & Exercise'. Of course right away the article stated the importance of diet and exercise but it went on to list another 4 ways to help us live a longer life. They're pretty good so I thought I would share them with you.

1. Good positive attitude
2. Volunteer (do good for others)
3. Worship (worship/prayer @ church and prayer/ meditate in private regularly)
4. Social (pick friends wisely –keep spouse first)

Wow! And I can believe that, can't you? But my burning question was why didn't they just direct us to the Bible. It says the very same thing. Of course it does. The Word of God IS life! You can read it for yourself.

1. Good Positive Attitude

2. Volunteer

3. Worship

So there you have it! If it's a good idea, it's in the BIBLE.
